Privacy Policy
Effective May 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how True Eden Restoration LLC (“True Eden,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information about you when you visit trueedenrestoration.com or contact us through our website, phone, or email. We are a home-based water, fire, mold, storm, and sewage damage restoration business operating out of Elgin, IL and serving the Chicago suburbs. By using our website or submitting a request for service, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information we collect
We collect information three ways: you give it to us, we collect it automatically when you interact with the site, and we receive it from the service providers we use to run the website.
Information you give us through the contact form:
- Full name
- Phone number
- Email address
- Property address (optional)
- Type of damage (water, fire, mold, storm, sewage, or other)
- Urgency level
- A description of the damage (optional, up to 500 characters)
- Your consent to receive SMS and email communications about your restoration project
Information we collect automatically:
- The page on our site where you submitted the form
- The referring website that sent you to us, if any
- Your browser type and user-agent string
- UTM campaign parameters from URLs you arrived on (so we can attribute ad and referral sources)
- Cookies and similar technologies as described in Section 5
Information you share over phone or email:
If you call or email us directly outside the form, we collect whatever information you choose to share — typically your name, contact information, and details about the property and damage so we can scope and schedule the work.
2. How we use your information
- To respond to your request for service, schedule an on-site assessment, and provide the restoration services you ask us to perform.
- To coordinate with your insurance carrier on covered losses — only with your authorization.
- To send you SMS and email communications about your project — appointment confirmations, scope updates, scheduling, invoices, and follow-up. You consent to these communications when you check the consent box on the form.
- To improve our website, understand how visitors use it, and measure the effectiveness of advertising and referrals.
- To prevent fraud, enforce our terms, and comply with legal obligations.
3. SMS and TCPA disclosure
When you check the consent box on our contact form (“I consent to receive SMS and email communications from True Eden Restoration about my restoration project”), you are providing express written consent under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) to receive non-marketing transactional and operational text messages from us at the phone number you provided.
Message frequency varies based on the status of your project — typically a small number of messages per week during an active job and occasional follow-ups afterward. Message and data rates may apply based on your carrier and plan.
To stop messages, reply STOP to any text we send you and we will end SMS contact with you (you can still reach us by phone or email). For help, reply HELP or use the contact information in Section 11.
Consent to SMS is not a condition of receiving service. We will still take your call and provide a quote whether or not you have opted in to SMS.
4. Who we share information with
We share your information only with the parties below, and only as needed to deliver the service you asked for or to operate the website. We do not sell your personal information.
- Trusted partner contractors. For services that require a specialized partner — for example, certain fire, mold, or reconstruction scopes — we share the project information needed to estimate, schedule, and perform the work. Partners are expected to handle your information consistent with this Policy.
- Your insurance carrier and adjuster. When you authorize us to coordinate your claim, we share scope, photo documentation, moisture readings, and invoices with your carrier and the adjuster assigned to your loss.
- Service providers that operate our website and lead intake. We rely on third-party services to receive form submissions, store lead data, send notifications, host the site, and measure traffic. These currently include or may include n8n (a workflow automation platform hosted on Hostinger), Google Workspace and Google Sheets, Twilio (SMS delivery), Vercel (website hosting), and Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics. Each operates under its own privacy policy.
- Legal and safety. When required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect rights, property, or safety, we may disclose information to authorities or legal counsel.
- Business transfer. If we ever sell, merge, or transfer the business, customer information may be transferred with it. The successor will be bound to honor the commitments in this Policy.
5. Cookies, analytics, and advertising
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for two purposes: to make the site function correctly, and to measure how visitors find and use it.
We may load Google Tag Manager, which in turn may load Google Analytics and conversion tags for advertising platforms (such as Google Ads). These tools place cookies in your browser and may collect your IP address, device type, pages viewed, referring source, and events like phone-number clicks and form submissions. We use this data in aggregate to understand what is working and what is not.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings, install a tracking-blocker extension, or opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. If you do, parts of the site that rely on these technologies may not work as expected, but the contact form will still submit.
6. Data retention
We retain customer lead and project information for as long as needed to provide service, coordinate insurance claims, satisfy our tax and recordkeeping obligations, and resolve any disputes — typically seven years after the close of a project, which aligns with general business and tax recordkeeping practice in Illinois. Marketing and analytics data is generally retained on a shorter cycle by the service provider that collects it.
7. Your choices and rights
- Decline to provide information. You are not required to use the contact form. You can call us at (224) 454-4376 or email trueedenrestoration@gmail.com instead.
- Stop SMS or email communications. Reply STOP to any SMS, click “unsubscribe” in any marketing email, or contact us directly. We will continue to contact you about an active project unless you ask us to stop in writing.
- Access, correction, and deletion. You may request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing trueedenrestoration@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe, subject to legal retention obligations (for example, completed project files may need to be retained for tax or warranty purposes).
- Browser and device controls. Use your browser settings to clear cookies, block third-party cookies, or enable Do Not Track signals.
8. Children
Our website and services are directed to homeowners and property managers — not to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
Form submissions are transmitted over HTTPS. We rely on the security practices of reputable service providers (Vercel for hosting, Hostinger for the lead-intake automation, Google Workspace for stored documentation) and limit access to your information to people who need it to deliver your project. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Links to other websites
Our website may link to third-party websites (for example, the Google Analytics opt-out page, or our social media profiles). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Review the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.

12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, when we change the tools we use, expand our services, or need to address a new legal requirement. The “Effective” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted on the website for a reasonable period after they take effect.
